Hello,

I am so glad you're here!

I have been an occupational therapist for 12 years, and specializing in mental health for the past 8 years (specifically in inpatient psychiatric settings for adolescents and adults).  Additionally, I co-teach a component of a mental health course for Occupational Therapy students in their Doctorate program.

My love for my career overflows, and I can't wait to share it with you.

My Story

I graduated from James Madison University in 2012 as a Master in Occupational Therapy, and since then, I've been curious, excited, and grateful for every experience as an OT. After five years of working and traveling, I decided to pursue my doctorate to better support students in academia.  I graduated with my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2019 with my newborn son in my arms.  My passion for mental health and holistic care has always guided me, emphasizing the inherent value, purpose, and worth of every individual I encounter.  I focus my life on intentional therapeutic rapport, both within my career and my important participation as a mama of two boys, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and community member.
